Okay I played soccer for a very long time. Don't hate on it if you don't know how the actually playing of game works and if you're a spectator. I really do hate when people think its all about just sprinting and getting a goals/points. I mean what big sport isn't that? Or those hypocrites
I actually think for American soccer, we are seriously laid back for officiating and do need to up our standards but thats not really gonna happen.
Honestly that was an very unsportmanship of the Sounder's player to do that. Possibly the guy that he smack was had done something to him earlier or he had a hold grudges against him for a while and it was payback. . Although watching this, I feel like the opposing TEAM had overreacted to that kind of hit, it was a hard smack, but THERE's So much worst injuries than that! You could have gotten kicked in the groin, in the face, you could have broken your leg, etc. Honestly male soccer players are just relentlessly holding on grudges and trying to get revenge back on whomever they target on the field.
Any who. Still ridiculous, out of all things that happen on the field, of any sport, there had been worst things but this is one that tops them all? Pathetic
Don't go blaming the referees, even though a lot do suck because they usually do it for money, but there are things on the field that will be missed by them. You can't watch an entire 110-120 yards of the field and see what all 22 players are doing. Even though there's three. You're only usually focus on the ball itself and whomever who has the ball or near it. Obviously this was near a ref but he had his back turned so it was technically the refs fault for not paying attention
Yes I might sound stupid on this comment but that's what I think. Complaining or putting this out there or saying for a committee or a higher power of whom own the team to review this, its not gonna do anything. Yeah they've probably seen it and had a talk to him, but its really not gonna change unless he gets off the team.
Really if you don't like what you see stop watching it.
have a goodday
